Dec what can we say, you were such a great guy and taken away from us far too soon, truly great bloke - one of the lads and you were loved by many and always will be !!
Still cant get my head around all of this! Seems crazy that i aint gunna see you driving around in ya bettle, beepin everytime u went past my work nd seen you, everytime i walk in 2 rendevous expectin 2 c you but your no longer there! We had a good nyt the friday before you died just shame it was the last! The cruise we went on for you was amazing! So many cars nd so many people, you would of loved it, shame u wernt there in person, only in our hearts and memory. Signing your coffin nd ur funerel has the be the hardest thing i nd every 1 else had to do to a legend who went to young! But we gave u a proper send off! Will never forget you dec, hope they r treatin you well up there, every time i hear fire flies and forever young i think of u nd think of your cheeky grin nd your rosey red cheeks! save me a space nd meet me at the pearly gates when its my turn! Dec, I can't believe ur gone, everytime I hear ur song I think about u. U always knew how to make everything seem better. I haven't spoke to you in a while but I didn't ever expect this. Every memory I have of u is a good one and evryone that knew you feels the same, u had such a great impact in peoples lives and that has been taken away far too soon. We had a cruise for you last friday, 65 cars turned up, 250 people, you would have loved it.
Sleep tight, you will forever be in our hearts and minds.

Many years ago i met Dec, Ollie's boy, who i met from an old friend of mine, even more years ago, my beetle was needing looking at.. Ollie turned out to be Mr VW for me. meeting this amazing family was awesome, so much love, so much passion. Dec always smiled and grinned when we turned up, and smiled and grinned when we left! Was lucky enough to be invited to "the Oliver's" summer special camp-over party, in 05 or 06, dad was 50, Dec spent all evening with us, lit the fire, and would not let me put the guitar down!
